Barriers have been very popular with event
organizers for many years and come in two basic forms:
The age old tried and tested 1.3m high standard barrier
with vertical rods and the lower 0.8m high
‘corporate’ advertising barrier which takes a
coreflute sign.

Most events organizers use
the standard ‘climbproof’ barrier for most areas and
drop down the the corporate advertising barrier at
finish lines and other areas where sponsors may benefit
from the exposure. DTD Crowd control Barriers are
usually hired on a per metre per day ,or a total per
event basis. Long or short term hire is available, as is
outright purchase.
Recent modifications to the DTD crowd control barriers
include the use of our exclusive spring-loaded swivel
legs. This modification makes it possible to lay the
panels flat on a pallet, or stack them tightly. When the
legs are swivelled for storage the panels fit across a
standard shipping container, this being the preferred
method of storage and transport for many event
companies.

The other major
modification to the standard crowd control barrier is
the updating of the bar spacing and minimum height from
the ground etc, which means that when in it’s
installed configuration, it should comply with the
current swimming pool regulations. This means that a
safe temporary fence may be erected at swimming pool
construction sites or other water feature areas.
